Better Maps and Charts = a Better GPS

Pocket PC with built-in GPS
If you're buying a new Pocket PC, we recommend getting one with a built-in GPS receiver.

built-in GPS

There are 3 ways to connect a GPS to a standard Pocket PC:

1. Wirelessly transmit your GPS position from a Bluetooth GPS to a Bluetooth-compatible Pocket PC.

2. Connect a NMEA 0183 GPS expansion sleeve, Compact Flash (CF) GPS or Secured Digital (SD) GPS directly with the Pocket PC.

3. Use cables to connect a standard GPS receiver to the Pocket PC. Maptech offers a 9-Pin null modem patch cable to connect two serial cables: one from your GPS manufacturer, and one from your Pocket PC manufacturer. Both cables must terminate with 9-Pin, female connections. The patch cable then joins the two together.
