Map CD/DVD Compatibility
Terrain Navigator software is compatible with the following types of map CDs:
'USGS Topographic Series' DVDs (included with the current version of Terrain Navigator Standard Edition)
'USGS Topographic Series' CDs (included with older versions of Terrain Navigator Standard Edition)
'US Terrain Series' CDs (included in older versions of TopoScout and G-REF)
Terrain Navigator software is not compatible with 'Professional USGS Topographic Series' CD/DVDs (included with Terrain Navigator Pro software) or discontinued 'Digital Guide' CDs (such as 'National Park Digital Guide' or 'Appalachian Trail'.)
Terrain Navigator and Terrain Navigator Pro can both be installed on the same computer. Some data files (such as Markers, Routes and Tracks) can be transferred between the two programs, but maps cannot be shared between the two programs.
